As we go forward through His Grace we are continually endeavoring to put our best foot forward in order that we might carry out the "Great Commission" as we are moved along and led by the Holy Spirit. As the Body of Christ and the representatives or "ambassadors from Heaven", there is no time to play at pretended Christianity. We must be genuine "believers" in order to be effective in our assigned heavenly purpose.
John 9:4 "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work."
Our chief and highest goal is to do what we see our Heavenly Father do and speak what we hear Him speak. It is in this way that we show ourselves to be one of the sons of God. This goal will be accomplished as we follow in the footsteps of the only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord with a new heart formed and fashioned after His own.
John 12:49-50 "For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak."
John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
